You stand in the cave of the Ackthar witch, sorting through her items. You have found the crystal about which the Druid spoke, and are ready to return to him.

Lindalas looks at the game in Mig's slightly boiled hand.

"It doesn't look that impressive, does it? Then again magic gems frequently hide their powers behind a dull appearance." He keeps looking at the crystal absentmindedly, obviously thinking about something else. "I really do hope that this crystal can cancel the evil of the dagger. I wasn't looking forward to having to destroy Alanta while we tried to hold down Skottie." Lindalas turns to Bree and Miguel. "We shouldn't underestimate Skottie's affection for the dagger, or rather, the power the dagger wields over him. I think it is enough if we tell him that this crystal can cure the disease and leave out the part about how it can rid Alanta of the evil. Afterall, Skottie doesn't recognize that Alanta has any evil in it... or her. Mig, just in case, keep the crystal in a place safe from nimble halfling fingers."
